About TikTok Live Wallpaper
TikTok Live Wallpaper is an Android app from TikTok Pte. Ltd. that gives your home screen a moving background instead of a fixed picture. It is filed under the productivity category and is delivered as the package com.ss.android.ugc.tiktok.livewallpaper, which lets you confirm you have the right app after installing.
What the app puts on your screen As its name suggests, the app is built entirely around live wallpaper: a backdrop that stays animated while you swipe between home screens and open menus. Instead of a still image behind your icons, widgets and folders, you get a continuously moving surface that changes the whole look of the device without changing how any of your apps work.
Who can run it The build requires Android 4.1 or newer, so it covers a wide spread of phones and tablets, including fairly old hardware. Anything running a more recent release falls into the newer devices category and installs the same way. Because the background is animated, your own device does the rendering each time the home screen is visible.
Versions and updates The current release is version 36.0, published on 2026-09-22. Updates of this kind arrive periodically, so if your installed copy offers a newer build, accepting it keeps you aligned with the version listed here rather than an older package.
Checking what you installed This listing does not state a file size or a content rating, so those details cannot be confirmed from it. The package name above is the reliable way to identify the app on your device and to make sure it matches the developer, TikTok Pte. Ltd.

How much storage will the app take up?
The file size is not stated in this listing, so no exact figure can be given. Storage needs will depend on your own device and on the background content you use with the app. Leave yourself some free space before installing and check your device storage panel afterwards for the actual amount used.
How do I confirm I installed the right app?
Check the package identifier on your device: it is com.ss.android.ugc.tiktok.livewallpaper. That string is unique to this app, is published by TikTok Pte. Ltd., and belongs to the productivity category, so it is the most dependable way to verify the installation.

It is a live wallpaper app: it replaces your static home screen background with an animated one that keeps moving behind your icons, widgets and folders. It does not change how your other apps behave, it simply gives the device a continuously moving backdrop.
