About Salams
Salams is a social application from Affinity Apps, LLC, identified on devices by the package name com.minderapps.minder. It offers a dedicated social space for people who want one focused place to connect from their phone. The current release on this listing is version 12.17.0, published under date 2026-10-02.
Where Salams Sits In The App World Salams belongs to the social category, the grouping used for applications centred on interaction between people. Rather than presenting itself as a utility, game or media tool, it is positioned squarely among social apps, so you can expect it to sit alongside the other communication and community applications already on your device. Its identity is anchored by the package name com.minderapps.minder, which stays consistent across releases.
Developer And Release Trail The app is published by Affinity Apps, LLC, the company responsible for building and maintaining it. Version 12.17.0 represents the most recent build recorded for this listing, carrying the date 2026-10-02. Because the version string and the release date travel together, you can compare them against what is already installed on your handset to confirm whether an update is waiting.
Space Needed Before Installing The download weighs in at 132.7 MB, so it is worth treating as a mid-sized install rather than a lightweight one. Clearing that much free space in advance avoids a failed installation, and leaving additional room on top helps the app run comfortably once it is on the device. Older phones with tight internal storage will benefit most from checking capacity first.
Device Support And Content Rating The build requires Android 9.0+ or a newer release, and devices running anything more recent than that should also be able to run it. Users on older system versions will need to upgrade their operating system before installing. Note that the content rating for this application is not stated in the listing, so families may want to review the app themselves before handing a device to a younger user.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which package name does Salams install as?
Salams installs under the package name com.minderapps.minder. That identifier is fixed by the developer, Affinity Apps, LLC, and stays the same regardless of which build you have installed. It is the string you will see in your device's application settings, and it is useful for locating the app, checking its storage footprint or confirming that an update applies to the same application rather than a similarly named one.
What Android version do I need to run it?
The build requires Android 9.0+ or a newer release. Devices running anything above that baseline should also be able to install and run the application without issue. If your phone is on an older system version, you would need to update your operating system first before the install will proceed, so it is worth checking your current version before starting the download.
How much storage should I free up first?
The application file is 132.7 MB, so plan to have at least that much free space available before you install. Setting aside extra room beyond the file size is sensible as well, since the system needs space to unpack the package during installation and the app needs working room afterwards. Devices close to their storage limit should be tidied up before the install begins.
Which version is currently listed?
The version on this listing is 12.17.0, recorded with the date 2026-10-02. Comparing that version string against the one shown in your device settings tells you whether your copy is current. The number is the reliable marker, since it advances with each new build published by Affinity Apps, LLC, while the package name com.minderapps.minder stays unchanged.
What content rating does the app carry?
The content rating for this application is listed as unknown, so no age classification is provided in this listing. Anyone deciding whether the app is appropriate for a younger user will need to judge that by looking at the application itself rather than relying on a stated rating. No rating category, guidance or age band is recorded here to reference.
