About PMA
PMA is the mobile learning companion published by Pondicherry Maritime Academy, put together so students and trainees can keep their study material close at hand on a phone or tablet. It sits squarely in the education category, concentrating the academy's learning resources into a single lightweight application identified as com.learning.pma. A focus on maritime training As a product of a specialist maritime academy, the app is aimed at people following structured training rather than casual browsing. Everything it presents is tied to coursework and instruction, so learners open it with a clear purpose in mind instead of hunting through scattered files and notes. A small install that travels well The whole package weighs in at 19.9 MB, which keeps the initial download and the resulting footprint modest even on devices with limited free space. That compact size also means the app installs quickly and leaves plenty of room for other tools a student may rely on alongside it. Version and device details The current build is version 1.9.2, released on 2026-10-03. The build requires Android 7.0 or newer, and devices running a more recent release of the platform are supported as well. Who publishes the application PMA is developed and published by Pondicherry Maritime Academy, the training institution responsible for the learning content it delivers.
