About New Relic
New Relic is a mobile companion for the New Relic observability platform, built for engineers, SREs and operations teams who need platform visibility while away from a workstation. Distributed under the package name com.newrelic.rpm, the app sits in the business category and is published by New Relic, Inc. What the app is This is the mobile entry point to the New Relic platform, letting technical staff carry a monitoring client in a pocket or bag. Rather than replacing a desktop console, it functions as an on-the-go extension for people already working with New Relic in their organisation, and it is offered in a compact build of 56.0 MB. Who it is aimed at The application targets professionals responsible for the health of software systems and services: developers, site reliability engineers, platform engineers and technical managers. Because it is categorised as a business tool, it fits into working environments where service performance is monitored and reported on, and where fast access to that information matters outside normal office hours. Compatibility and installation The build requires Android 8.0 or newer, so it will not run on older handsets and tablets; newer devices meet the requirement comfortably. Installation proceeds the same way as any other application of its kind, and the listed package identifier com.newrelic.rpm is what users should look for when confirming they have the correct product on their device. Release information The listing records version 5.43.8, dated 2026-09-24, as the latest release of the app. Note that the content rating for this application is not stated in the listing, so users concerned about age suitability will need to rely on their own judgement of a professional monitoring tool.
