About Microsoft Excel: Spreadsheets
Microsoft Excel: Spreadsheets is the mobile spreadsheet offering from Microsoft Corporation, published under the package name com.microsoft.office.excel. It sits in the productivity category and brings structured table work, calculations and organised records to a handheld screen. Current Release Details The current build is version 16.0.20228.20090, dated 2026-10-07. It is the most recent listed release, so every note about refinements or fixes on this page refers to this exact build rather than an older one. Device Compatibility The build requires Android 2026+ or newer. If your handset or tablet is already running that platform level or something more recent, it satisfies the stated requirement, and checking your device's system settings before installing is the quickest way to confirm. Role In A Productivity Routine As a productivity app from Microsoft Corporation, it belongs to the same working family as documents and presentations, and its name points squarely at spreadsheet tasks. Tables, tallies, budgets and tracked lists can all be kept in one file that travels with you instead of staying tied to a desktop. Storage Footprint The package occupies 134.9 MB, so it asks for a meaningful amount of free space before installation begins. It is worth clearing room ahead of time, since the installed app and any spreadsheets you later save both need somewhere to live. The listing does not supply a content rating, so users should judge suitability for themselves.
