About Flora Incognita
Flora Incognita is an education app released under the package name com.floraincognita.app.floraincognita and produced by Technische Universität Ilmenau. It packages a focused learning tool into a small, quick download. The current release on this listing is version 3.15.21. Developed by Technische Universität Ilmenau The app comes from a German university rather than an anonymous studio, so its engineering and content sit inside an academic context. That institutional background is the clearest signal of how the project is maintained and what kind of audience it was built for: learners, students and curious users who want structured material rather than entertainment. Install size and device compatibility The download occupies 17.3 MB, which keeps it light enough to install alongside a crowded home screen without demanding much free space. The build requires Android 7.0+ or newer, so a large share of devices in circulation can run it, and anything newer than the stated baseline is equally suitable. Version 3.15.21 and its release This listing carries version 3.15.21, published on 2026-09-11. Checking that string against the installed build is the simplest way to confirm you are running the same release described here. No earlier version numbers or revision notes are supplied with this fact sheet, so nothing further about previous builds can be confirmed. Where the app sits in education Filed under the education category, Flora Incognita is positioned as a learning resource rather than a game or utility. Its name and university authorship point squarely at a botanical, plant-focused subject, delivered through the package com.floraincognita.app.floraincognita that your device recognises during installation.
