About Deutsches Hygiene-Museum
The Deutsches Hygiene-Museum app is the mobile companion created for visitors and curious learners who want to explore the museum's subject matter at their own pace. Developed by Acoustiguide GmbH, it sits squarely in the education category and carries the package name com.acoustiguidemobile.am_dhm. It is a compact download of 32.9 MB, so it can be added to a phone without eating up much space.
Understanding the museum through your phone
As an education app, the focus is on guiding you through content rather than on entertainment or social features. The tool is built to accompany a visit or to be used beforehand for orientation, letting you follow the museum's themes in a structured way instead of relying on printed material alone. Everything is organised around the institution it represents, so the experience stays tied to what you would encounter on site.
Who builds it
The app comes from Acoustiguide GmbH, a developer whose work centres on guided audio experiences for cultural venues. That background shows in how the application is framed: it is a companion product for a physical institution rather than a stand-alone learning game. Because the publisher specialises in this field, the app is treated as an official digital layer for the museum it serves.
Current version and release
The latest version of the app is 1.3.7, published on 2026-10-03. Anyone installing it now receives this most recent build, which is the one described on this listing. No content rating has been assigned to the app, so no age guidance is available from the listing itself.
Getting it running
The build requires Android 7.1+. If your device runs that version or a newer one, you should be able to install and launch it without hardware concerns. At 32.9 MB, the download fits comfortably on most phones, and newer devices will have more than enough capacity to spare.

How much storage does the download take up?
