About Alpine Welten - Reiseleiter
Alpine Welten - Reiseleiter is a mobile application from developer Bitalm GmbH, identified by the package name com.alpinewelten.tourguide. It sits in the communication category and is built as a travelling companion for anyone exploring alpine landscapes, presenting itself as a digital Reiseleiter rather than a plain utility. The whole app ships as one installable file of 48.7 MB. What Alpine Welten - Reiseleiter is for As the name suggests, the app is framed around guiding: it acts as a handheld companion that travels with the user rather than something used once and forgotten. Its placement in the communication category indicates that keeping in touch and staying informed go hand in hand with the guiding purpose, so the experience is geared towards people who want their travel information close at hand on a phone. Communication as the core category The listing files the app under communication, which shapes expectations about how it behaves during a trip. Rather than presenting itself as a map, game or media player, it positions itself as a channel between the traveller and the alpine content it delivers. That framing matters when you decide whether it belongs alongside your messaging and social apps. Setting it up on your device The build requires Android 7.0 or newer, so handsets and tablets running that version or anything newer are able to run it. Installation is straightforward: you add the package com.alpinewelten.tourguide to your device like any other application, and once it is present it appears in your app list ready for use. Devices on a more recent release are supported without further configuration. The current build and its size The latest release is version 2.2.3, dated 2026-10-03, and it occupies 48.7 MB of storage. That footprint is modest enough for most modern phones, though it is worth confirming you have spare room before installing. If an earlier build is already on your device, updating brings you to this current release. No content rating is listed for this application.
